Serving Others

Serving Others
Giving back to our community is very important to Weaver Capital. Not only supporting the below organizations financially but also with our hands and feet. The bible says in verse 1 Peter 4:10, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." Serving others is a gift God has given each of us. It opens our eyes in many ways and shows us how blessed we truly are. We always walk away from these volunteering days humbled, grateful and eager to do more. We encourage our clients to do the same.

Wellroot Family Services
Wellroot Family Services mission is "to restore children and families from trauma through Jesus Christ". We have really enjoyed working with this organization - from sorting through donations to decorating for the Christmas Event.

Eagle Ranch
Eagle Ranch is an organization dear to our hearts. DeWitt Weaver Jr., DeWitt's father, started the biggest fundraiser for this organization, the annual golf tournament. The tournament has raised over $1.50 million over the 25 years it has been held. Eagle Ranch provides a Christ-centered home, education and counseling for nearly 70 boys and girls.

The Place of Forsyth County
WCM supports The Place of Forsyth in many ways. From working in their food warehouse to volunteering at The Holiday House, there are so many ways to connect with this organization. A place for Hope and Encouragement, The Place supports Forsyth county residents with resources to meet basic needs and achieve self-sufficiency.

Forsyth County Young Life
WCM has sponsored the Young Life Golf Event for many years. This organization has been instrumental in so many kids lives, including DeWitt's four children who were and continue to be active in YL. Part of Young Life's mission is to go where kids are and build personal relationships with them - inviting them to experience life as God designed it to be lived.
